Taron
Colour: DSH black striped tabby with white
Born: March 10, 2026
Gender: Male
History:
Tilly was a stray being fed by a kind gentleman who loved cats. Seeing she was pregnant and knowing she was near her time, he took her in to his already crowded home. Tilly gave birth to four kittens the very next day. Unable to devote the time to them that this new family needed, the gentleman contacted PAW, and we made room for them in a foster-home. Two of the kittens have been adopted, but Taron and his sister, Riley, and their mother, Tilly, are still available, and have separate profiles. We prefer kittens to be adopted in pairs, or into a home with another active cat.
Personality:
Taron and his sister, Riley (also available for adoption), are very comfortable with people, with “not a shy bone in their bodies”, as their foster-guardian says. They will want to sleep with their humans. They are at ease with strangers, and would do very well in a new environment. They show more curiosity than fear. Taron is a little less out-going than his sibling. “Riley’s the boss,” is the report from their foster-home. Nonetheless, Taron wob’t take long to love his new family.
Taron and Riley are available for adoption separately, but they are very close, and if they are adopted together, PAW will include a big exercise wheel, which is one of their favourite toys. It’s like bringing along their own play-room!
Please Note:
- The $250 adoption fee covers first vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery and micro-chip.
- If the kitten is adopted before its booster is due (30 days from first vaccination), the adopter must arrange and pay for booster themselves.
- When it is time for the kitten’s spay/neuter surgery, a representative from PAW will be in touch with adopter to co-ordinate the date.
- All surgeries will be done at Highlands Pet Hospital in Lethbridge unless the adopter lives out of the area. For those cases, arrangements will be discussed individually.
- If adopter chooses to add pre-anesthetic blood-work prior to spay/neuter surgery, payment for that is the responsibility of the adopter and is payable to the veterinary clinic the morning of surgery.
- Post-surgery, adopter must contact PAW to request change in contact information for micro-chip (no charge)
