History:

Tilly was a stray being fed by a benevolent householder. She clearly had had a home at one time, as she was very friendly and trusting of humans. But she had not been spayed and was now pregnant. When her benefactor realized that she was very close to giving birth, he felt that he had to bring her in from the cold and dangerous outside, despite having several cats of his own already. Tilly gave birth the day after she was given refuge, but, due to the number of cats already present in the small home, Tilly and her new family were found space in a PAW foster-home.

Personality:

Tilly has come a long way as a foster-cat. In the beginning she was a little unsure (who could blame her – she had four newborns in her charge) but everything pointed to Tilly being a kind-hearted and friendly soul. She was an excellent mother to her babies (two of whom, now no longer babies, have been adopted). Her foster-guardian remarked that she had not before hosted such quiet kittens. The reason? Tilly didn’t let them cry for food; she was ready to care for their needs before they needed them! She allowed her babies to be picked up, but didn’t want to be carried away from them herself.

Now at the end of her maternal duties, Tilly’s real personality is starting to emerge. Little  mother cats have to be shown much grace; especially ones like Tilly, who never had a proper home or was fed well or cared enough about to have had any health care. Tilly is, according to the people fostering her, such a calm girl now, so chill. She does very well with other foster cats in her home however she loves one-on-one with foster mom (when her kittens decide to give her a turn). She’d never had the chance to be a kitten herself as motherhood came too soon. But you should see her now! She is running, wrestling and leaping over her kittens – now they are her playmates! She’s finally discovering all the good things that life has to offer. She’s a beautiful soul, both inside and out.
